An insider’s story, where fashion, city, and design crossed paths in a unique, unrepeatable moment
June 18, 2025, was not just any night in Athens. Nor was it just any runway show.
That Tuesday, the asphalt became a stage, the streetlights became spotlights, and the bodies of 10 real women who walked our runway did not simply parade: they danced an idea. The idea that fashion can be more than fashion. It can be presence, dialogue, living matter.
What happened that night was not a fashion show. It was a manifesto shared among brave brands, unexpected collaborations, and a city that not only watched but felt, celebrated, and participated.
One street. One city. One shared vision
The event Street Runway in Athens was born as a provocation and became an experience. Organised and created by Tè.khne Arts & Crafts and Nodos by G, the idea was simple: to bring fashion down from its white, polished pedestal, away from the world, and return it to the heart of the city, where real life beats.
Other brands joined this vision, not only contributing their talent but also embracing the disruptive spirit of the event:
- Masum Karimi, with its radical silhouette and poetic sense of textile.
- Issi Athens, with their gender-disruptive designs.
- Noctua Craft Beer, refreshing throats and conversations.
- Gotye Beauty Salon, responsible for ensuring that every gaze, skin, and hair complemented the aesthetic vision of the runway.
- Butterfly All Day Bar, transforming its garden as an extension of the asphalt into a celebration.
- and the modelling school Art Podium GR, Which brought strength, diversity, and movement.
The collaboration was genuine, organic, and spontaneous. More than 100 people attended, including guests, prominent figures from the fashion world, stylists, artists, and curious onlookers who stumbled upon something unexpected and didn’t want to let go.
An outdoor fashion show… or an urban ritual
The street was the runway. But not just any street: a corner of downtown Athens that, for one night, became a threshold. A gateway between the traditional and the experimental, the artisanal and the digital.
The designs shown were not made to be observed from afar, but to be experienced. Textures that vibrated with neon light, 3D-printed accessories that captured the geometry of a possible future, plant-based bikinis that challenged the category of “swimsuit” and approached more the idea of a jewel or an extension of the body.
NODOS by G presented an exclusive selection of pieces, from 3D bags to wearable sculptures, like vests and bikinis, and geometric appliqués printed in biomaterial, designed not only to dress the body but to celebrate it. Designs that respect, exalt, and engage in dialogue with the silhouette without trying to control or correct it.
More than style: atmosphere
What was most talked about that night was not just the clothes. It was the atmosphere.
An electric, fluid, enveloping energy. Live music, moving lights, bodies walking among the crowd, without barriers, without hierarchies. Fashion as a shared experience. Like a street choreography.
The DJ set wrapped the runway in a sensory soundtrack: rhythms oscillating between tribal and futuristic, organic beats mixed with synthesizers. And, in the midst of it all, the materials. Because yes: the fashion that night had weight, volume, shadow, texture. It was not just image. It was presence.

Fashion that doesn’t fade. It has come to create the new reality
One of the most special moments was the exhibition after the runway show.
During the second part of the event, the audience could get close to the pieces from each brand, touch them, try them on, discover their creation processes, and purchase them with an exclusive 40% discount for one night only.
The idea was simple: if you are going to make fashion accessible, make it truly accessible.
Not only visually, but materially.
“We want our pieces to inhabit real bodies, real wardrobes, real lives.” —Gelareh H.Karimi
That moment of closeness—seeing someone try on a piece and connect with it in real time—is probably the most valuable experience we lived as a brand that night. And as the creative director of NODOS by G, I felt it as a kind of culmination and rebirth.
In a world where fashion weeks repeat with predictable solemnity, we decided to break the norm. And we did it with a smile, with elegance, with conviction.
This event was the result of many things we have been sowing for months:
- A new way of looking at the body.
- A radical commitment to materials that care, not pollute.
- An aesthetic that is soft and powerful at the same time.
- A community that is not satisfied with just consuming, but wants to participate.

And what now?
Now, what follows is to build upon this energy.
We will publish a visual lookbook of the event.
We create content pieces for our social networks (Instagram and TikTok), where you can see behind the scenes, close-up textures, and the moments not visible from the front row.
And we are preparing new collaborations because NODOS is not a point. It is a fabric.
To those who were there, thank you for looking with open eyes, for touching with curiosity, for dancing with us. And to those who could not come: this story did not end in Athens. It only began.
